Wanted— Used Mermaid rig & sails for new Wexford Cots under construction.
After a successful season, with five cots now regularly sailing in Wexford Harbour, the cot sailors have received more funding to build and renovate cots. They are planning to have a fleet of fourteen out next year. They are looking to acquire sails and masts. Do you have any for sale or donation?
This is a community project for young people in Wexford, so your support would be appreciated.

For Sale— WILDWIND (ex Paula) No. 131 Built by John Brennan, Dun Laoghaire, 1964.
Championship winning boat, most recently in 2009. Has been in top 5 of Championship eight times (1st x 4, 3rd x 2, 5th x 2).
A major refit was carried out in 2000, with new bulkheads, a new deck, centre case, thwart and seats. All the lands were cleaned out and filled with epoxy. This made Wildwind stiffer and watertight. She is finished to a high standard and is painted and varnished with ‘two pack’ International paints throughout the boat.
This is one of the best maintained Mermaids in the fleet and is seldom out of the top five in events.
