Winner — Master’s Trophy 2010
Skerries Sailing Club’s Jim Dempsey (on helm) with Cian O’Regan and Scott Flanigan sailing Paul Winters’ No. 183 Wannago to victory during Mermaid Week 2010 hosted by Foynes Yacht Club. Of the six races Jim and crew had two wins, three seconds and an eighth place.
They also won: Master’s Trophy for helms older than a certain age! North Bull Cup for winning Race 3 Doreen Cup for winning Race 4 |

Runner up — Mermaid National Championship
Rush Sailing Club’s Jim Carthy (on helm) with Muriel Carthy (centre) and Paula Carthy sailing No. 123 Vee to 2nd place during Mermaid Week 2010. Of the six races Jim and crew had a win, two seconds, two fourths and a sixth place.
They also won: Rockabill Cup for winning Race 1

Third — Mermaid National Championship
Winner—Celia No. 5 Trophy
Rush Sailing Club’s Paddy Dillon (on helm) with Johnny Dillon and Rory Grimes sailing No. 131 Wild Wind to 3rd place during Mermaid Week 2010. Of the six races Paddy and crew had a win, a second, two thirds, a fourth and a sixth place.
They also won: Celia No. 5 Trophy for boats older than 40 years. Bailey Cup for winning Race 6 |

Fourth — Mermaid National Championship
Rush Sailing Club’s Anthony Carthy (on helm) with Margeurite Carthy and Eoin Butterly sailing No. 188 Innocence to 4th place during Mermaid Week 2010. Of the six races Anthony and crew had a third, a fourth, two fifths, a seventh and a fifteenth place.

Fifth — Mermaid National Championship
Wexford Harbour Boat Club’s Derek Joyce (on helm) with Cillian Joyce and Darragh Hassey sailing No. 187 Zuleika to 5th place during Mermaid Week 2010. Of the six races Derek and crew had a third, a fifth, a sixth, a seventh an eighth and an OCS.

Winner of Daphne Perpetual Challenge Cup
National Yacht Club’s Geraldine O’Neill with Mick Hanney and Ailbhe Smith sailing No. 73 Lively Lady to win the Daphne during Mermaid Week 2010. Of the six races Geraldine and crew were first in the Daphne three times, third twice and did not compete in the last race. They finished 9th overall.
The Daphne is awarded to the best boat that competed last year, but was outside the top 15. |

Winner of the Designer’s Trophy
Skerries Sailing Club’s Mark Boylan with Niall Collins and Graham Daly sailing Joe Boylan’s No. 177 This Is It to win the Designer’s during Mermaid Week 2010. Of the five races Mark and crew was first in the Designer’s twice, had two seconds, a fourth and an OCS. They finished 14th overall.
The Designer’s is awarded to the best boat that was outside the top 25 last year. |

Winner of the Celia Trophy
Rush Sailing ’s Anthony Weldon with Des Deane and Cian Hickey sailing No. 30 Elenora. Anthony finished 26th and will thus be awarded the Celia Cup. He will, therefore, be favourite to win the Designer’s in 2011. |

Winner of the Crew Race
Kinsale Yacht Club’s Cian O’Regan won the Mermaid Week Crew Race sailing Paul Winters’ No. 183 Wannago (Skerries Sailing Club), with Jim Dempsey and Scott Flanigan as his crew.

Winner of the Munster Trophy
Foynes Yacht Club’s Vincent McCormack with Luke McCormack and Róisín McCormack No. 119 Three Chevrons to win the Munster during Mermaid Week 2010. Of the six races Vincent and crew was first in the Designer’s four times, had a fourth and an OCS. They finished 17th overall.
The Munster is awarded to the best boat from a club within or on the coast of the province of Munster. |

Winner of the Mavis Cup
Skerries Sailing Club’s Shay O’Toole with Shay Murray and Pierce Bennion sailing No. 182 Dolphin. They won the Mavis Cup for being first in Race 2. They came 7th overall. |

Winner of the Rush Cup
National Yacht Club’s Jonathan O’Rourke with Alan O’Rourke and Carol Cronin sailing No. 77 Tiller Girl. They won the Rush Cup for being first in Race 5. They came 13th overall. |
