Uses new Limerick ring road.  226km (140M) - approx 3h05m with boat.

o Exit M50 at Junction 9—Naas Road N7 Cork/Limerick

o Follow N7/M7 for 187km (116M) all the way to Limerick bypass

o Follow the Limerick Bypass

o Pass the N20 intersection (don’t exit) →Tunnel, N18 Galway, N19 Shannon

o Proceed for 3.4km (2.1M)—at Dock Road Interchange exit Foynes N69

o Proceed for 34km (21M) through village of Foynes, past railway station

o Proceed up hill—cross on to opposite side of road and on to a lay-by and then through stone gateway, down steep hill into club. 

o CAUTION—beware of oncoming traffic
